This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you download and interact with the CrowdSender Mobile Application (available soon on App Store and Play Store) and when you visit the CrowdSender Website: https://crowdsender.de/

Collection of the Personal Data

When users visit our website, your personal data is processed.

Personal Data is information about factual and personal/individual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This mainly includes information that admits conclusions that can be made about your identity, for example, name, address, phone number, email address.

The statistical data that we track, for instance, once you visit our website can’t be directly related to your personality doesn’t fall under the term “personal data”.

When you use or interact with our Mobile Application (further “app”), the specific information about users will automatically collected, including information about users’ IP address, web browser, time zones and some cookies that have been installed on users’ devices. Additionally, the information about specific websites or products users’ viewing will be collected as well as the information regarding the interaction with the website. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

The device information will be gathered by using the further technologies:

While using the CrowdSender platform we also collect certain information from you. We require this data for the appropriate fulfilment of the contract between users and the platform and to consent to lawful commitments. We may not be able to provide you with all the services you demand without this data.

i) User Information: 
While a user registers an account on CrowdSender, we need specific information such as his/her email address and password. Another option for signing-up to our platform is using social media accounts such Google, Facebook/Instagram, Apple Sign-in.

ii) Profile Information:
To use specific functionalities of the Crowdsender app (for example making deals) we might request that some extra data from you. This might incorporate your:

– Telephone number
– Address
– Full name
– Date of birth
– Gender
– Profile Picture
– Short description about yourself

 
iii) Identity verification data:
To help establish and keep a confided and entrusted climate, we may gather identity verification data such as:
– ID or passport
– Photos of an administration ID card
– National Identity card or Driver’s license (if allowed by appropriate law)

You can unsubscribe at any time when you click on the link provided in the newsletter. You email address is used by us purely for sending you our newsletter for the advertising and promoting purposes.
 
Our mobile application and the website are not aimed at children, and we do not purposely gather individual information from children straightforwardly. If you think we are handling individual data inappropriately, we approach this exceptionally in a serious way and ask you to reach out to us using the information given in the “Contact us”.
 

What data and why is that processed?

When you download, install, and use the app, your personal data is being processed:

• When downloading and installing the app:

You must register a user account with the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and conclude corresponding usage agreement with them, in order to be able to download and install our app from Play Store or App Store. We have no effect and influence on this, and we are not a party of such a user contract.

When you download and install our app, the following mandatory information is transferred to the app store: username, email address, the customer number of your account, individual device identification number and the time of the download. We are not responsible for the data collected here and have no influence on this. We solely process the provided data concerning the downloading and installing of the app on your mobile end device.

• When using the app:

If you just open the app, do not interact with it or do not enter any data, we do not gather personal data, apart of the data that your device transmits to allow you to open it. This is necessary technical process, by which the further data is transmitted:

– IP address
– Device type
– Access (HTTP) status code
– Request date & time
– Request content (pages viewed)
– Amount of transferred data


Your IP address is erased or anonymised after the usage. In the sense of anonymisation, the IP address is altered in a way that the related person cannot be authenticated or can no longer be identified. The data in technical journals are analysed by us in an anonymised form for further improving and developing our app and website and making them user friendlier. Moreover, it allows us to locate and fix errors much more quickly.

Data processing is mandatory so that users can get to know the content of our app. The legal base for this is Art. 6 §1 lit.f of the General Data Protection Regulation. The processing of the specified data is significant for the provision of the content. Otherwise, you would not be able to use the app as expected.

• When registering to the app:

We collect the further personal data from you when you register an account on CrowdSender. We require this data for the appropriate fulfilment of the contract between users and the platform and to consent to lawful commitments. We may not be able to provide you with all the services you demand without this data.

In order some functions and features run well, our app requires an access to specific data and services on user’s mobile device. Further are the permits CrowdSender may request and the functions of these required permits. These permits can be after changed or withdrawn.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Amendments

We take measures to ensure that all personal information that hold by us is complete, accurate and up-to-date. Users are obliged to immediately inform us if any changes take place to the personal data we have retained about them. Users have the right to ask us to adjust the personal data we have retained about them that they assume is outdated or incorrect. Such requests will be processed by us within an appropriate time frame. Comments

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
